MEETING THE REQUIREMENTS of historical authenticity is a particularly demanding task, and one we at River City Builders especially relish.

Our shop is located in a rural community, and the surrounding area is blessed with many fine examples of 19th- and early 20th-Century vernacular buildings. Because of this, we not only have had the good fortune of repairing and replicating the work of fine craftsmen of 80 to 140 years ago - we also have studied, worked and lived in the structures they built by hand. It's not surprising, then, that we have come to believe wholeheartedly in the integrity of the designs, construction methods and materials of this bygone era.

By combining the tools of modern technology with our respect and emulation of the building traditions of the past, we are prepared to tackle even the most formidable restoration project.
