Fine Home Improvements

WE TAKE PRIDE in restoring, renovating and remodeling fine homes.

Our extensive experience with 19th- and early-20th-Century homes, as well as with architect-designed homes in both modern and traditional styles, has given us an approach very different from that of most builders and general contractors.

Our experienced craftsmen can match or create any style of millwork and casework, regardless of era, complexity or materials. We enjoy the challenge of seamlessly integrating new and old work.

Bathroom Bedroom Remodel in Eagan
The project started by converting two small bedrooms into a master suite. As in many remodels, there were structural problems in the original house that were addressed through the use of a structural engineer. The following fifteen photo pan the spaciousness of the new master bedroom suite. Also included in this project is a walk in closet, updated master bathroom, and a redesigned mudroom/laundry.

Garages
It may be humble, but in our eyes it's a work of art. While any garage is primarily a utilitarian structure, we believe its appearance should reflect the style of the house. In this case, an beautiful and historic home called for an appropriately traditional garage rather than a generic box.

Room Face Lift
This was a restoration project. The goal was to re-capture the original look and feel of the early 1900's. During the project, the walls and ceiling were straightened, the electrical was updated, the walls were insulated and the fine oak wood floors were either replaced or re-finished complete with walnut accents.
